Steven S. Gearhart
Chief Technology Officer
Steve is Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer of Green Courte and Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer of The Parking Spot (TPS). As Chief Operating Officer of TPS, he oversees the operations, sales and marketing, accounting and human resources functions, and as Chief Information Officer, he oversees technical initiatives, data analytics and network infrastructure. Steve joined Green Courte in 2015 and TPS in 2012.]
Prior to joining Green Courte and TPS, Steve was a Vice President with the Pritzker Realty Group (2003-2011), a management consultant with the Boston Consulting Group (2001-2003) and an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1994-1999).
At the Pritzker Realty Group, Steve was involved in asset management and the disposition of the Centergate Residential apartment portfolio, the Encore Senior Living Company, the Presidential Towers apartment complex in Chicago, the Hyatt Center CBD office building in Chicago, Vi Senior Living’s independent living portfolio and TPS’s portfolio of near-airport parking facilities. He was also involved in the oversight and final disposition of the Baldwin Park land development in Orlando, Florida. While at the University of Wisconsin, Steve was awarded two patents and received research grants from the National Science Foundation, the Army Research Office and the Hyundai Motor Company.
Steve holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management. While at Kellogg, Steve was named a Siebel Scholar based on outstanding academic performance and leadership.
