Arthur A. Greenberg, 69, became affiliated with GCP as Managing Director, Senior Tax Advisor in June 2003. Since his affiliation with GCP, Mr. Greenberg has remained a practicing Certified Public Accountant providing tax consulting services to other real estate owners. Mr. Greenberg has concentrated his practice on the taxation of real estate. Prior to joining GCP, Mr. Greenberg was Executive Vice President of Equity Group Investments and Equity Financial & Management Company where he oversaw the analysis of the tax consequences of mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, and negotiated and structured new ventures.

Mr. Greenberg was involved in the structure, sponsorship and initial public offerings of Equity Residential, Equity Office Properties Trust, and Manufactured Home Communities, Inc. (currently known as Equity LifeStyle Properties, Inc.) which are or were all New York Stock Exchange listed REITs. Mr. Greenberg has advised these companies and others regarding a wide range of tax planning, structuring, and compliance matters.

Mr. Greenberg is a member and past Co-Chairman of the Government Relations Committee of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts. He is a member and past Chairman of the Tax Policy Committee and is a member and former Chairman of the Research Committee of the Real Estate Roundtable. He is a past Director of the Real Estate Tax Institute.
