Randy L. Kotler joined GCP as Managing Director and the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of American Land Lease, Inc. in December 2010. From July 2007 to December 2010, Mr. Kotler was the Executive Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of Avatar Holdings, Inc., (NASDAQ: AVTR) a Coral Gables, Florida-based publicly-traded real estate company focused on residential development and construction including significant activity in the active adult space. Prior to joining Avatar., Mr. Kotler served as the Chief Accounting Officer of TOUSA, Inc., (PINKSH: TOUSQ) a publicly-traded top-12 national homebuilder based in Hollywood, Florida from June 2002 to July 2007,and Senior Vice President of Finance and Interim Chief Financial Officer from June 2006 to July 2007. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kotler served as a Senior Manager of Ernst & Young LLP in its Real Estate Group, from September 1996 to May 2002 and prior thereto, Audit Senior Manager of BDO Seidman, LLP, from September 1988 to September 1996. 

Mr. Kotler holds a BS from Florida State University’s College of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant.
